Letter from Brad Eldridge - Douglas County Appraiser
For over two decades, Douglas County has provided real estate information to subscribers through a web-based platform called Systems Access. Thank you for being a subscriber!
The time has come to replace this platform with an updated site that is more secure and incorporates contemporary functionality. The County’s GIS team developed a new platform, Systems Access 2.0, with input from current subscribers and in collaboration with the Appraiser’s Office. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their input.
The County plans on launching the new platform in August 2025. Security 1st Title and Lawrence Board of Realtors (LBOR) have graciously agreed to host two training sessions to be offered in August.
Space is limited at the LBOR location – please register now if you plan on attending the August 5 offering.

When the project began in July 2024, the County suspended annual subscription charges due to a target date of July 2025 to discontinue the platform. Before that, the price had been flat since it was created 20 years ago.
The price structure for Systems Access 2.0 will be $480/year for single-user accounts and $600/year for multiple user accounts, to be paid annually. Account management will be run through the Appraiser’s Office. New account setup will not commence until August 2025 and our office will reach out to existing users via email with setup instructions.
The old platform will remain accessible and in place until users can be switched over to the new platform.
